Kathleen Duborg, Executive Producer

Kathleen co-founded the Cold Reading Series in 1993 to allow local writers the opportunity of hearing their scripts read by an incredibly talented body of actors, and to foster and develop the Vancouver theatre and film communites. In 1999 she created the ReelFast 48 hour Movie Making idea and with fellow producer , Derick Cobden, began to cajole the film makers of Vancouver into participating in this break-neck creative process.

A graduate of the UBC Theatre and Film Department, Kathleen is a Jessie Richardson Theatre award winner and has performed on numerous stages in Vancouver and throughout Canada. She has just returned from a 2 year stint in Toronto where she worked as an actor and attempted to get a more rounded opinion of the 'Canadian' film and theatre industry from an eastern perspective. Film credits include: Cold Creed Manor(dir: Mike Figgis), Last Wedding, Dirty and Live Bait(dir: Bruce Sweeney). Television includes: Call of the Wild(series lead), Stargate, Doc, Sue Thomas F.B. Eye., Outer Limits, and Mysterious Ways.
